Form: Letter to the editor of the Globe & Mail or to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade & Development.
Purpose: persuade people that the Canadian immigration system is (not) fair.

- Use the "define:" command in Google and Wikipedia entries to research the difference between Free Trade and Fair Trade. Use a Venn diagram to contrast these opposing views on global trade.
- Research a Free Trade Agreement Canada has signed (e.g. NAFTA) or is about to sign (e.g. CETA).
- Use the table "Sweatshop Profiles" to complete the "Behind the Label" activity on global working conditions.
- Write a letter expressing your opinion in the debate over whether international trade agreements should be free or fair?
